I am no fan of the @akgop . I have been vocal about their lackluster support (at best) of repealing RCV when we had the best chance (thanks @907Honest ). Am I a Christian Conservative? Yes Am I a registered Republican? Yes Do I disagree with GOP on many issues? Yes Am I the problem? No When I read your first post, you said Begich infiltrated the Republican Party. I assumed you meant my conservative neighbor Nick Begich who I talk to on a regular basis. You then clarified that you were talking about Mark Begich (you could have clarified it in your first post by saying “Mark Begich” instead of “a Begich”) Simple question, do you believe the LNG pipeline is good for Alaska? Unless you have some information I am unaware of, I believe Mark Begich’s only involvement (through his PR firm) with the Dunleavy administration is to promote the LNG pipeline. I wouldn’t quite classify that as an infiltration.

Either hold a closed Republican Caucus, we did it for US President in 2024 or All but one Republican Drop Out. This nullifies RCV and Open Primaries. In fact since there are multiple Democrats and Independents, if we work with one candidate we can easily win the governor's seat. Have the remaining governor candidates drop out and run for House or Senate seats in their areas and use their war chests to help local races. You get the governor's seat and a veto proof majority in House and Senate.
