AIPC MSME Domain Congress is firmly committed to empowering our MSMEs — the backbone of India’s economy. As part of strengthening our vision and handholding initiatives for the sector, we met Shri Karthikeyan, President of CODDISIA, one of the country’s leading MSME associations. We carefully listened to his valuable suggestions and the association’s inputs for our Election Manifesto. We are truly inspired by their decades of dedicated service and unwavering commitment to the growth of MSMEs. TN Congress Manifesto Committee Member Mr. Sanjai, Mr. Sandeep, and Sudhakar Sundaravel National Head - AIPC MSME were glad to take part in this meaningful interaction. #MSME #Congress #ElectionManifesto #Entrepreneurship #EconomicGrowth #TamilNadu

In the last few days, office bearers and members of the AIPC LGBTQIA+ Domain across the country have mobilised both on the streets and in policy spaces, protesting and actively lobbying MPs as the Lok Sabha takes up the Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Amendment Bill 2026. This Bill seeks to take away the right to self-identification, replacing dignity with surveillance, medical gatekeeping, and bureaucratic control, apply discriminatory rules, effectively deciding who gets recognised and who is excluded. We will not accept laws that erase any community. Stand with trans lives. #TransRightsAreHumanRights

I stand in solidarity with the transgender community and will strongly raise these serious concerns in Parliament. Met a delegation of transgender community members and civil society representatives regarding the Transgender Amendment Bill, 2026; a deeply regressive and problematic legislation. Key concerns: • Removes the right to self-identification, replacing it with medical boards and bureaucratic approval • Violates privacy and bodily autonomy through mandatory medical scrutiny • Narrows the definition of “transgender”, excluding transmen, non-binary and gender-diverse persons • Risks de-recognition of those already holding legal identity documents • Institutionalises state surveillance and intrusive oversight of identity • Revives stigmatizing, outdated frameworks instead of protecting dignity • Undermines institutional mechanisms like the National Council for Transgender Persons • Introduced without meaningful consultation, weakening democratic process • Attempts to bypass ongoing judicial scrutiny This Bill represents a clear rollback of constitutional rights affirmed by the Supreme Court. #TransgenderBill

A delegation of 20 transgender folx & their cisgender queer allies met with @VarshaEGaikwad Tai, @INCIndia MP for Mumbai North Central this morning to speak with her about our opposition to the BJP's Transgender Amendment Bill, 2026, a frontal assault on the community's dignity. Tai listened to our concerns patiently for over 45 minutes, and assured us that she would be the community's voice in Parliament. She summed it all up finally by saying, "Being transgender is not only about one's identity, but also about one's rights!" What an ally! Thank you, Varsha Tai. ♥️🙏🏾

Burning MSMEs in India — Not Just the Middle East alone.. The ongoing geopolitical tensions involving the US, Israel and Iran have triggered supply disruptions and sharp increases in energy prices. This is severely impacting MSMEs across India. LPG gas and furnace oil are the first and most essential inputs for operations—cutting, heating, heat treatment, painting processes, and even cooking in factory canteens. Due to shortages and rising costs: • Many MSME units are forced to slow down or shut  down temporarily.. Steep increase in raw materials, energy  cost, • Migrant workers are leaving  due no canteen, no food. This Alarming situation needs timely intervention from both Central and State.... Governments AIPC MSME Verticle recommends Possible relief measures could include: • Monitoring and controlling abnormal raw material and energy price spikes • Extension of contract delivery timelines without LD (Liquidated Damages) • Reduction or waiver of SD (Security Deposit) and PBG (Performance Bank Guarantee) requirements • Reduction in bank interest rates or interest subvention for MSMEs • Extension of export timelines under ECGC support etc. SUDHAKAR SUNDARAVEL National Head-MSME Verticle All India Professional Congress. #MSME #IndianManufacturing #EnergyCosts #RawMaterials #PolicySupport
