19 of 20 NHL players studied after death have had CTE. I doubt a single player on the ice knows that, so they choose to give each other brain injuries "as part of the game". When they meet again in a dementia clinic in a few decades, I suspect they'll regret playing this way

Great audio by our ESPN audio folks! Love how you hear the puck hit the back bar inside the net. You can also hear JJ Moser scream "Yeah!!" before the crowd roars over my voice which is really cool. He knew first. These audio/visual people work 12-15 hours a day, traveling the country to bring games into your homes. They are my favorite co workers at ESPN. The best people.

This post is an excellent litmus test for understanding of just war theory.
Despite the fact that I can see how effective this would be, I must oppose it because the damage it would do to my enemy (who bashes in my mailbox) would far outweigh the good of saving my mailbox. Its disproportionality is opposed by our duty in charity (and even justice) to watch out even for the good of our enemies.
