@RBF100101

My allegiance is to God first, then to the US Constitutional Republic. The supremacy clause is written into it for good reason!

Only by consent of the governed has real meaning and power. No legislation without due representation.

The Fifth Circuit just told millions of women that three judges know better than the FDA, their doctors, and 25 years of evidence. They don't. This restriction on medication abortion is a nationwide abortion restriction, full stop. I have no intention of letting this stand.

BREAKING: A conservative court packed with Trump-appointed judges just ruled to ROLL BACK access to the abortion pill. This is a page straight out of extremist Republicans’ anti-abortion playbook. Let me be clear: the abortion pill is safe and effective. We must fight back.

@johnpavlovitz 😂 are you actually claiming the SCOTUS took away a citizens right to vote? Do you seriously think people are dumb enough to believe that? The only thing SCOTUS took away is democrats ability to gerrymander based on race.

The six Supreme Court Justices who stole the votes and voices of Americans and irreparably harmed our nation's electoral process this week should be pariahs for the rest of their lives. They should not be welcomed where decent people gather.

First, there is no need for race-based representation in Congress or government. 'Black people,' do not require 'black,' representation through a black elected official. That has not been remotely relevant for 60 years. Second, no one is stopping black voters from voting for a black candidate. Pretending white voters won't vote for a candidate because they are black is racist nonsense. Third, when given the opportunity to choose between a white Democrat and a black Republican, black Democratic voters do not prioritize racial representation. The entire argument is nonsensical political theater.

No. We are not a democracy. We are and always have been and always will be a constitutional republic. SCOTUS is doing its rightful job of holding you leftists at bay and preventing you from railroading our legal structure away. If you don’t like it here you are free to leave. But you do not have the authority to throw out our constitutionally-protected God-given rights.

@hulsey_ryan @ArtCandee I wasn’t sure about that. If they’re fair then they’re already compliant with SCOTUS recent ruling and to your point there’s no need to redraw them. I’m sure the DOJ civil rights division will be reviewing them all to be sure.

@RBF100101 @ArtCandee You'd need to have racially gerrymandered districts to redraw them, and none of Georgia's districts are clearly gerrymandered in that way.

Correct. They are run by states within the boundaries of federal laws. Voting Rights Act ring a bell? States are not allowed to gerrymander based on race. And when the SAVE act passes voters will have to provide proof of citizenship and life, to vote. In every state. This was settled because of the civil war. States are not sovereign nations.

@DarleneBreauxTX Really? Every single American citizen in this gerrymandered area still has their right to vote. You’re panties are twisted because democrats are going to have to earn votes for once.
