The fact that this hasn't made national news is INSANE Who else thinks these people need to be in prison? 17%, yes SEVENTEEN percent, of public school students face some sort of sexual misconduct. That is INSANE. How is California under Gavin Newsom actually protecting those that victimize children in the most evil ways? What in the world is wrong with Los Angeles? What in the world is wrong with teachers unions?

Clown World ™ 🤡@ClownWorld

Two LAUSD administrators were convicted of failing to report child sexual abuse. They weren’t fired, they were promoted. One now runs a virtual academy. The other works in HR. Under current agreements, employees can stay on payroll for years during investigations, and even those found guilty can be reassigned instead of removed. When systems protect adults over kids, something is seriously wrong. This deserves national attention and accountability.

Chuck Schumer and the eager to ban things crowd are at war against nicotine pouches But the pouches are SAFER than smoking. "We shouldn't be treating something like a nicotine pouch the way we treat cigarettes," says @gbentley1 of @reason. Here's why:

Little has changed over the decades. Scientists still lack a definitive explanation for what causes homosexuality. Estimates holding roughly steady at roughly 1 in 20 women and 1 in 10 men. The real shift has been the explosion of made-up identities and exaggerated non-binary claims (especially among women), often pursued for social status and membership in a privileged group. Conformitymaxxing. And parents aren’t truly the last to “know”. They’re usually just the last in the inner circle to be told.

I’m glad more people are finally recognizing the populist, anti-American grift pushed by woke right influencers like Candace Owens and Tucker Carlson. They’ve spent years enriching themselves by feeding division, undermining trust, and tearing at the foundations of the country that gave them every opportunity to succeed. Let’s hope the tide turning against them isn’t too little, too late.   There’s nothing wrong with criticizing American policies when your arguments are grounded in facts, principle, and critical thinking. That’s healthy in a free society. But these podcast grifters offer none of that – just emotional outrage designed to resonate with Americans who were understandably frustrated by failed COVID policies, broken institutions, and a weak civics education.   From Hold These Truths episode 384 with political commentator @RheaKarys.

@JJ_McCullough One of the reason you don,t direct approach is politics is decided by personality not issues ! The party can look at polls and who wins in the district .the point of politics is winning . Not ideological crusades !

This whole system is so stupid. The Conservative leader should be decided by Conservative voters in an election run by Elections BC, not this convoluted nonsense. No British Columbian's vote should "weigh" more than another and voters should not be an asset to be bought.
Jas Johal@JasJohalBC

BC Conservative leadership signup numbers by riding are out. West Van-Capilano (1,091) and Surrey-Serpentine River (1,050) lead the pack. Surrey has multiple ridings in the top tier. Important to remember ridings with low signups always play a big roll in these races #bcpoli

WSJ: Rob Sand is courting independent voters and even Republicans. He frequently quotes the Bible, owns two handguns, goes deer hunting each fall and asks audiences to sing a few verses of “America the Beautiful” at the start of campaign events. Independent voters are critical for him in November. As of April 1, Iowa had 701,962 registered Republicans, compared with 503,365 Democrats and 595,859 independents. Republicans, who have dominated Iowa during the Trump era, argue Sand’s folksy, “common sense” shtick will wear thin once he is forced to take more policy positions in the campaign’s general election phase after a June 2 primary. #IowaGovernor

@SwannMarcus89 You're trying to appeal to a voter that inherently distrusts and hates you and will believe without evidence that your opponent is more aligned with their interests than you are. You are trying to make us lose and I think you know you are.

Long term the Democrats are completely fucked. They keep moving left and 60% of American voters already think the Democrats are too liberal. The party is overwhelmingly hated and it will get worse The Democrats are only able to compete because Donald Trump is still alive

Almost all the philosophical worldviews or doctrines were originated by White men. Asians originated a few outlooks (Confucianism, Buddhism, Hinduism, Zoroastrianism, Taoism) early in their histories (the Axial Age, 700-200 BC) but thereafter their mind stagnated with no more than refinements of these outlooks. Africans never developed a single philosophy in a million years, and neither did Amerindians. Moslems mainly commented on Aristotle. The following isms were all inventions of Whites: Agnosticism Atomism Behaviorism Cognitivism Cynicism Descriptivism Dualism Fideism Formalism Foundationalism Functionalism Emotivism Empiricism Existentialism Idealism Hedonism Historicism Materialism Monism Naturalism Nihilism Naturalism Nominalism Occasionalism Pantheism Perspectivism Phenomenalism Physicalism Posthumanism Positivism Pragmatism Rationalism Realism Reductionism Relativism Romanticism Scholasticism Skepticism Stoicism Structuralism Teleologism Transcendentalism Universalism Utilitarianism Vitalism This is one of many arguments I make in Greatness and Ruin: antelopehillpublishing.com/product/greatn…
