Coin saturation has been the biggest “new” issue to crypto this cycle- inviting many malicious actors and instilling a culture of low hold times and over rotating.
What many refuse to recognize is these are short-term tactics that don’t scale beyond (some) current market participants.
When “retail” comes back and we’re in mania, a handful of coins that either a) promote a completely new ethos or b) capitalize on and expand upon an already well-recognized identity & ethos will benefit in outsized ways many can’t comprehend today.
These take time to establish holder bases, commitment and bigger picture positioning for when all the pieces of the puzzle of “mania” come together.
Ask yourself: What has the ability to reach escape velocity and capture hearts & minds of newer market participants to create a culture of stickiness outside of just CT?
What will change how outsiders view crypto?
What are popular ethos and iconography that stand for something bigger than what crypto as it’s understood today stands for?
What does the world want and need?
You don’t want to be stuck in the wrong assets when everything falls into place.

Identity alignment is big too- ethereum largely failed at unifying around an identity as time went on. The 2nd biggest market cap coin can’t define what it is at its core.
Is it the world computer, is it the defi chain, is it everything, is it specific tools blockchain deployers need? what is it in one sentence to an outsider?
Very few coins can do this.
Those that can will become our generation’s saving grace.

@RedPillMoney How will that change how outsiders view crypto? A great question. Ultimately, it depends who wins: believers or traders. If believers win (and BTC is a great indication they will), then the answer to that question is quite positive
