The Iranians forcing the U.S. to pressure Israel to agree to a ceasefire on Lebanon isn’t sitting well with the Israelis. To make Netanyahu feel better and to manage the optics to make this appear like a U.S.-Israeli win, we might see the Lebanese government perform yet another undignified theatrical act that humiliates them and undermines their people.

I'm well aware of how hated we are in the region by the average person, but better a cold peace than killing each other. Egypt and Jordan are not poor because of peace agreements, but rather for other reasons. Israel is not stopping them from developing their economies. The UAE has peace with Israel and it is prosperous.
