One piece of feedback on the Codex App: it currently lacks the warnings and reasoning logs that the Codex CLI provides. This info is highly valuable for developers. A great UX solution would be displaying these as transient notifications—show them when triggered, then auto-hide them shortly after. Would love to see this added! @OpenAIDevs #OpenAICodex

@rohanvarma Honestly, I dislike viewing or writing code directly on CodexApp. The UX is basically no better than just opening a terminal in VS Code, and for actual code reviews, it’s infinitely less convenient. CLI WITH VS Code wins every time. 🤷‍♂️

@rohanvarma Having to switch editors just to view specific code adds way too much friction. Honestly, that single extra step makes me prefer running the CodeX CLI right inside VS Code instead of using the standalone CodeX App. Why break the workflow?

@rohanvarma Exactly this! 💯 After writing code, I need a fast, clean way to review my diffs. CodexApp's diff view is just way too narrow—it completely lacks the screen real estate you get in VS Code.
