@Jvhxl @Dark_SpaceYT GTA 6 is a guaranteed smash hit. It's the most hyped entertainment product of all time. If someone recreates the map based on leaks, then it would not result in GTA 6 failing to reach sale expectations. It'll make Rockstar Games and Take-Two massive bank either way.

Going after modders is ridiculous. They have contributed a lot to the Rockstar Games community and incentivized people to buy Rockstar's games. I have received so many messages from people, saying that they bought Bully specifically to experience the mods. Mods bring fans together, prolong interest in games, and keep the fanbases active and excited. Modders create these projects out of passion and appreciation for the games we love and grew up with. Stomping out your biggest supporters' creative expressions won't net you profits, it'll just make you look out of touch and over-controlling.

It's worth noting that a company that utilizes AI automatically flagged this video, resulting in a copyright strike on Dark Space's channel. In other words; Dark Space interpreted some GTA 6 leaks, created a fan-made recreation of what he imagined the GTA 6 map will be like, and received a DMCA because of it. This jeopardized his channel and censored the mod from being seen by the community. This fan-project posed NO THREAT at all to Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive, yet he was punished for pursuing this project.

@Jvhxl @SWEGTA I made a free mod for the GTA 6 map in GTA 5. They not only took down the mod, but copyright struck my own video on it. A video. They can take the mod down but I struggle to see how my videos of my own creation are their property.

I don’t understand this tbh. Why would you rather recieve a less ambitious/innovative title for your money? I’m more than happy playing other games whilst allowing Rockstar to push the limits as to what’s possible. There’s plenty of amazing games from other studios that release each year to keep us occupied.

I'd much rather see Rockstar Games make another 3D-era GTA game in a couple of years than spend over a decade cranking out GTA 6 with a ton of delays.
