If you only read the Wook page for the Yuuzhan Vong War, you would have no idea the sheer extent Borsk Fey’lya fucked over everyone’s life “ill-prepared” is an insane understatement

@yookaydandy Yeah it’s people who are Clone Wars fans first and foremost rather than Staf Wars fans

@SWPraxeum Always been a huge fan of these guys idk where the idea that they're like uncool star trek dudes came from. I think there's a certain generation that doesn't like anything not clone adjacent

@Quicksilver2D That’s a cool excerpt? Is that from Bounty Hunters Guide or something? Love that it clearly demonstrates how Windu haters are incorrect

@MarthsBars Two things can be true at once: 1) The scene was stunning in execution: visually and aurally. 2) It also does not fit in Star Wars lore...it breaks the world in a way that "it was a one in a million chance" just cannot explain away.

I'll always defend TLJ's Holdo Maneuver as a stunning & crucial scene, & one that *works* in Star Wars. The takes claiming it "broke canon" are still so dumb. Eckhartsladder's animation saying it'd fail WITHOUT explaining WHY (just "it'd fail bc I said so") is still the worst.

@ro97247612 @Luke_Maxxing Revelation was technically the first Star Wars book I read back in ‘13, but that was solely motivated by me slopping the Wook and thinking it was something it wasn’t lol

@Luke_Maxxing Like the saying goes if you see someone say LOTF is a good series they either probably just skimmed the wookiepedia or watched tik tok edits of Caedus.

I don’t care that he was ‘rude’ to Ahsoka, in her own words she was there in her capacity as a citizen And even if he was a bit harsh, he’s not obligated to tell her anything. they were in the midst of committing treason by spying on Palpatine and it was a sensitive moment

@eternaldec3it I think he canonically is. But we need to see more of his piloting otherwise it’s just told to us (same with Hera tbf, we don’t see that many extraordinary bits)

@Claagu163 It sacrificed its own story to set up Operation Necromancer and the resurrection of Palpatine, which also to tied in with the Mandoverse, which went nowhere too

It’s been a minute since I’ve watched tbb so I might be remembering wrong but did that show have any impact on the larger story at all? I feel like all the plots ended up going nowhere. I suppose we did get some insight on the phasing out of clone troopers though

@zweiwalker89607 I suppose it’s a relief that Duel of the Fates wasn’t made as that was literally its concluding statement 😭

@bones4918 Yeah I did like the Clones in that book tbf, it’s just that bit was a tad odd. It is very in keeping with what we know of Kaminoans though haha

@SWPraxeum Ngl I really enjoy Traviss’ Rex He’s a very well rounded character imo and the scene is played more for humour than a serious commentary on clones’ upbringing It’s very weird to think of the Kaminoans demanding clones know a bunch of galactic stereotypes tho
