@KPeezoEddy @JamieDyckes I’d even be fine with 1. A center that’s a junior or senior. We’d still be very young though, which is why I’d prefer 2 with another older backup.

@JamieDyckes I think three would be the absolute ceiling. I agree two is the sweet spot. And one is an absolute necessity. Not just because we desperately need a big, but because we need Shaka to show us he understands the need to evolve.

I firmly believe that right now we have a five man core, with a lot of other intriguing guys (Egbuono as a recruit for one). Nigel - Royce - Adrien - Damarious - Phillips People are going to want us to go crazy in the portal. I just want a serious big, and a backup PG. #mubb

@KPeezoEddy Everyone has their own reason for staying or leaving, but I think DO’s friendship with Royce is pretty important to the harmony of the team. I think we’ll see a nice competition at wing with MP2, DO, and Egbuono.

@SamVan57 I don’t think he is a starter, but I do think he supplants Tre (who likely moves on to play more somewhere else). The real question is if DO is a starter or not. If he isn’t, I could see him leaving. Then MP2 is vital to hold onto and play big mins.

This season was a failure and can never happen again. Also, compare #mubb to other bottom half teams. They were playing like a top 50 team with a top 10 defense to end the season. Teams that don’t have a strong culture can’t do that. MU kept fighting and growing. Bright future.

Chase Ross, like he has during his entire time at Marquette, is making all #mubb fans proud tonight.
