@KarlTheProgrmr @jaysmontoya @mohrt And individuals support blocks by continuing to hold coins on that chain. If a fork occurs, selling a side is the individuals way to voice their support - not running a node that performs no economic purpose.

@jaysmontoya @mohrt Other nodes with proof of work (miners) reject invalid blocks by refusing to build on them and excluding them from the most proof of work chain.

🚀 Announcing Paytaca CLI (Beta)
We’ve just released the beta version of Paytaca CLI — a command-line interface designed for developers, automation workflows, and AI agents.
AI agents are beginning to work, coordinate, and transact online. For this to scale, they need programmable access to wallets and payments.
Paytaca CLI enables exactly that.
With Paytaca CLI, scripts and AI agents can interact with the Paytaca ecosystem directly from the terminal — enabling automated payments and machine-driven economic activity on Bitcoin Cash.
Potential use cases include:
- AI agents paying for services
- automated task-based payments
- programmatic wallet operations
- integration into developer pipelines and autonomous systems
This is an early step toward a future where AI agents can earn, spend, and collaborate in a peer-to-peer economy.
⚠️ Beta release — expect rapid improvements and breaking changes as we refine the tool.
Feedback and contributions are welcome. Let’s build the machine economy. 🤖💰

@hugomofn Definitely agree that it's a giant waste of time. 😊
English

@SwissHodler @TheBCHPodcast The truth: BCH is technically better, more fundamentally sound, and offers a better speculative bet.

@TheBCHPodcast Why do you think Bitcoin Cash is the better Bitcoin? It's being used by how many people - 21 Bitcoin Cashers?
English

@Mark_MNLocal Hard to be interested in something that just talks about changing things but doesn't actual do it.
English

@theothermjordan Doesn't sound like the Bitcoiners I'm around. 🙂
English

@Scavacini777 If you want to restrict any and all ability to use arbitrary data, removing all programmability options from the network, so what you consider 'bad bytes' aren't used then that's definitely your choice.
I'll just use alternatives that aren't crippled. 🤷♂️
English

@SayoshiHelpMe Brother p0rn isnt a legitimate transaction
It traumatizes women for life who 99% of the time regret that life
Look at Mia Khalifa
English

@axexang @Scavacini777 You do you. I'm a Bitcoiner that wants a p2p money that everyone uses, and BTC was proven to not be that since 2017. ✌️
English

@SayoshiHelpMe @Scavacini777 A lot of Bitcoin node operators said NO; Bitcoiners don't need the sh|tcoiners and the sh|tcoiners don't need Bitcoin at all. Anyway, "core" is captured, but this is a good test to show that Bitcoin is not.

Always important to remember the words of @saifedean #Bitcoin
English

@axexang @Scavacini777 Money is indeed the biggest market, but BTC artificially restricts its # tx's for money use to an incredibly tiny amount, so it's not like your 'spam' is stealing cycles from money tx's?
Luckily I don't have to worry about BTC's data problem with our solution 😉
English

@SayoshiHelpMe @Scavacini777 Bitcoin was not designed to be a database which means pushing data makes the RAM usage of a node increases at an abnormal rate. Money is the biggest market, in other words "data" is irrelevant for a Bitcoin node. If you want to play with data you should look at bittorent.
English

@axexang @Scavacini777 If the network could support all that, plus 'regular' financial transactions, and still be fully decentralized ... then it would be more popular and have a higher price than a network that only supported 'regular' financial transactions.
English

@SayoshiHelpMe @Scavacini777 Could you calculate the value of a "database" filled with jpgs and all the junks produced by sc@mmers?
English

@Vladcostea @TheBlueMatt Getting tired of X making me refresh and resubmit posts 3+ times... maybe this will work to get the point across. if so, F X.

English

Ok so apparently @TheBlueMatt agrees that a quantum signature upgrade for Bitcoin should come with a block size increase
I’m happy that old taboos are being revisited
I’m also happy that he’s also against burning old coins. That’s madness that only institutional NGU bros want
English

@knutsvanholm We were always here, your bubble just didn't overlap with ours anymore... and while you weren't looking, BCH has started running laps around BTC devs in advancing UTXO utility.
If you took an honest look, you would likely be surprised at what non-crippled Bitcoin can do. 🙂
English

@bchalpha So you CAN do a fully on-chain chess game that needs to verify every move with a transaction:
github.com/SayoshiNakamar…
But nobody is likely to care when they can just load up a simpler, normal chess browser game. 😁
English

@bchalpha So I'd lean more to doing a normal Diablo/Path of Exile-like game with cosmetics as NFTs, or a MMO where land ownership/improvement is done via NFTs. Things that just need proof of ownership, or occasional use/changing, or a secure game (token) currency.
English

Want to create a BCH-enabled game for the BCH-1 hackathon? You can pitch it to me and I'll help get you going on the BCH smart contract side for it. 🙂
