Using the Pats and Chiefs proves only that dynasties can overcome bad weather. It does not prove weather and taxes don’t matter. In capped leagues, take-home pay, climate, lifestyle, and winning all matter — and when teams are close, low-tax/warm-weather markets absolutely have an edge. Ironically, the Chiefs just moved their team to Kansas for better tax incentives.
