H.E. Dr. @SereyChea , Governor of the National Bank of Cambodia (NBC), presided over the official launching Ceremony of #Crossborder QR Code #Payments between the National Bank of Cambodia and Ant International via Bakong and @Alipay on October 14, 2024 in Phnom Penh.

The National Bank of Cambodia and @BNM_official launched the #crossborder #QRPayment linkage between #Cambodia and #Malaysia. The event were presided over by H.E Dr. @SereyChea , Governor of the NBC and Dato’ Seri Abdul Rasheed Ghaffour, Governor of Bank Negara Malaysia.

H.E. Dr. @SereyChea , Governor of the National Bank of Cambodia, and H.E. Dr. Ing Kantha Phavi, Minister of Women’s Affairs, chaired a #consultative #workshop on “#Promoting the #FinancialInclusion For #Women ”on August 29, 2024 in Phnom Penh, supported by @womensworldbnkg .

It was an honor to have lunch with Mr. @ADBPresident, and his team. I took the opportunity to share about Cambodia’s history and economy. He also visited @sosoro_museum and gave us a good review. 😄

It was a happy program for myself and the team where we learn breathing techniques and techniques to be happier. As in everything, practice is required. 😄 Thank you to @SriSri and @ArtofLiving team for conducting this program.

Cambodia’s female leaders are driving change. I was lucky to host a great group from across government, the private sector and civil society last night. Thank you to HE @SereyChea for being so generous with her experience and advice.

At Beijing 21 November 2023, H.E. Dr. Chea Serey, Governor of NBC and H.E. Dr. Pan Gongsheng, Governor of PBC & SAFE Administrator, signed MoUs on i/-cooperation in Financial Innovation and Payment Systems, and ii/-establishment of Clearing and Settlement Arrangement in Cambodia.

The National Bank of Cambodia and AliPay Connect Pte. Ltd. signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on “Cross-Border QR Code Payment Cooperation” which was signed by H.E. Dr. Chea Serey, Governor of the National Bank of Cambodia and Mr. Douglas Feagin, Senior VP of Ant Group.
