@TheStarElite When I read it I didn't see any issues. The main thing from it was care about family and don't push your wants on others. Easy. But I have seen is the crazy people doing shipping and putting their own "wants" into the characters.

Toby Fox has been thoroughly vindicated. He was right in not trusting localizers to properly translate Undertale in a language he personally doesn't know and the Yunyun Syndrome situation shows exactly why. It's not "racist" to protect your work from culture war vandals.

@hajihgrty @KaroshiMyriad Certain things don't make sense when directly translated, which is why localisation is a thing. It just sucks when it seems there are some bad faith translators on these localisation teams.

Localization as a business should genuinely die out. It's no different than what 4Kids did and I'm tired of people defending it. If you have to change something to fit into YOUR standards you were never interested to begin with.

@WVojakk what baffles me is how half of it got approved, did nobody do any amount of proofreading? did they even bother communicating with the original creators whatsoever? its such a disaster it genuinely feels like somebody made it up but it sure is real

These two are some of the highest ranking members of the EN Localization company 'Dragonbaby' responsible for this disaster. Blaustein is particularly interesting. He has a history of working on JP to EN localizations as far back as the early 90s to early 2000s but after that it seems that many Japanese companies stopped working with him. In interviews it's written that Blaustein was fired from a Japanese company for "insubordination" and that when working on Metal Gear, Kojima himself disliked Blaustein's work and some even say Kojima had Blaustein fired from working on Metal Gear. Decades later he's resurfaced to a more public facing position and we see how Dragonbaby butchered the Japanese to English localization of 'YunYun Syndrome!? Rhythm Psychosis' so badly that the Japanese Devs are currently working on hotfixing the entire mess. Some might even speculate that on top of using their positions to force their political rhetoric into Japanese games, Blaustein holds a level of malice towards Japanese creatives due to his prior conflicts. Saw the BS the cancer English Localization shit team put out. They need to FIRE and REPLACE ALL of these TRASH. Remove their shit names/organization in the game and start all over with a new team, preferably a Japanese native that knows in English (They are a lot of them in actual universities in Tokyo. They are part of these list which should be a instant BLACKLIST for all future Japanese games and developers.

@SlopSlopSlop_ @QDenpaReceivers i dont think thats the case as every language besides EN seems to be correct. most likely what happened is EN localizers just ignored the script and instructions and Fuyuki didnt proof read it and trusted the localization team
