Niji art. Those who follow me knows that I usually post niji art and anime characters with a sense of realism. That’s my favourite genre. So here it’s all about good vibes 🌸 And in many ways I feel like a self-appointed niji ambassador. Not that I’m especially good or something like that. But I test and try to see what we can get out of this model, that I personally, in many ways find more exciting than the ordinary one. And hopefully I can inspire others along the way, and bring some nice images into their feed/timeline. So if you are new to niji, I would say that it’s more unreliable and inconsistent. You have to prompt different and more. Depends on what you are making of course. But also be prepared to do a lot of iterations. More than you are used too. Just keep it going until you get the results you want. Because when the niji model get it right, it’s truly rewarding 😍 And I also treat every image created as a raw file from a camera. I always import it to Lightroom for further adjustments, and also photoshop if needed before posting here. Old habit I guess after years working as a photographer. 🚨A Reminder for Midjourney Power Users🚨 If you have generated at least 10,000 total images, you can access the new alpha version of Midjourney website (see image). This version allows you to view and manage your image archive, and most importantly, enables you to generate new images or variations, thus potentially moving away from Discord. However, please remember to reset your preferences in the default settings of Midjourney Alpha site because, from what I see, they are not inherited from the ones you saved into /settings in Discord. This applies to almost everything: mode (fast/relax,...), visibility (public/stealth), image version (v6,v5.2, ...), style (normal/raw) and defaults for image params (--stylize, --weird, --chaos). A note regarding stylize (--stylize): If I'm not mistaken, LOW setting when operating from Discord is set at 50. However, from what I see in the case of Midjourney Alpha, the default is set at 100 and 50 can't be set . So if you wish to keep a LOW stylize setting there, you'll need to append --s 50 to the prompt.
