Demand was so high from the customers of Totino’s Italian Kitchen in northeast Minneapolis that they started parbaking & freezing their pizzas!

Rose & Jim achieved success with Totino’s frozen pizza brand, the first to operate nationally. When applying for the loan for their pizzeria, Rose won over the loan officer who was unfamiliar with pizza, by hauling a portable oven into the break room & making some on the spot😆

Crucificia Passalacqua was the Sicilian-born mother-in-law of Gus Guerra. He enlisted her help when his business, Buddy’s Rendezvous, was struggling & her Sicilian focaccia “sfincione” became the solution🙌
