It’s my birthday today. 🎂 Four years ago, @kelso_ind was just an idea between two childhood friends. Today, with 3,500+ teammates and 29 amazing partner companies, we’ve crossed $1B in annual revenue. Grateful. Excited. And honestly, still a little in awe of what this team has built together. 🚀

Growing up in the 90’s…Home Improvement was the top show… Two parents. Boys in the home. Real people. Real conversations. A neighbor, Wilson, across the fence that you couldn't see his mouth but they were friends and he's given advice and they actually knew their neighbor. Traditional home. That was normal. Then we got sold a different life a decade later…. What’s the top show in the world? Friends. Go inner city, no mention of parents, no mention of real siblings unless it's a joke and a punch line. Don't get married, don't have kids, that's a waste, live your own life. That happened from the 80s to the 90s. Then we get into Seinfeld, same thing…no purpose. Just sarcasm. Don’t get married. Don’t have kids. Responsibility is a joke. “Just do you” Fast forward to today… Kids don’t know who they are. Men don’t know how to lead. Nobody knows their neighbor. And everyone’s staring at a screen waiting to be told what to think. People who are easy to sell to, easy to influence and easy to keep distracted. Remember, strong families create men. Weak families create consumers who are easily manipulated and influenced. Sadly, this anti-family force is only getting stronger by the day. Especially with big companies who have access to our children via social media…because they know that if they can rip them away from the family…then they are now the product and they can make more money off of them. That’s the game. Time to wise the fuck up and bring the standard back. Do I need to remind you that your last name actually means something?

So spot on. Sales is the key to success as a searcher but also as a leader in nearly any business but especially in an SMB. Without a sales ability the business will massively suffer. You are selling employees and new hires, customers, vendors, and really everyone to be involved in your business.

We've talked to 569 searchers in the last 10 months. One trait predicts who finds a business to buy, raises the capital, and succeeds as an owner: Sales ability. You don't have to be a professional salesperson. But if you: - Are deliberately building the skill of creating human relationships - Can brave many Nos to get the one Yes - Relentless push through obstacles, discomfort, and ambiguity with a smile You're stacking the deck in your favor. And not only because it'll make you more effective in the search and in raising capital. Sales is at the heart of small business ownership and of being a CEO, 9 times out of 10. The seller you're replacing is likely an effective salesperson. I you can't step into their sales shoes, at least over time, it will make the transition that much harder. Because when a big customer leaves, and a loan payment is due in 2 weeks, saying "I'll hire a salesperson" doesn't work as a revenue strategy. It's going to be you pounding the pavement. The most successful searchers embrace that, and savor the challenge. Hit me with your thoughts on this and if you agree / disagree :)

Peptides > finasteride for hair loss Is it really worth having higher estrogen levels, lower libido, and a permanent dependency on this drug? Of course not. I am 44 with a full head of hair because I use these methods instead: - GHK-Cu helps rebuild blood vessels and repair follicle DNA. - AHK-Cu increases growth factors and helps reverse thinning. On top of this, I use: - Tallow butter provides an anti-inflammatory base for the follicles. - Microneedling allows peptides to get deep into the skin. - Red light therapy gives dying follicles the cellular energy they need. If you want my complete hair loss prevention protocol, comment the word "HAIR" and I'll send it to you.

I love what I do for pretty much everyday of my life. Until I see mine or my wife’s extended family at a big dinner and I have to answer “So is that little stump thing going ok?” 15 times in one night. Makes me want to die.

The most underrated AI tool on the internet? Ideogram AI. Pair it with Claude, and you have a publishing system that can produce six-figure eBooks on Amazon. One book turns into compounding income over time. Last month alone, we generated $65,000 in royalties using this setup. Stack 4–5 books using this process, and you’re suddenly looking at a real monthly income stream. I could easily charge $199 for this. But today, it’s free. To get it: • Like this post • Comment “KDP” I’ll DM you the training + my entire AI publishing system. ⏳ Free for the next 48 hours (Follow so I can message you)

We’re launching a new @alphaschoolatx high school for aspiring entrepreneurs. Our promise: Make $1m by graduation, or receive a full tuition refund. Yes, this will be the coolest high school in the world. And we're building the best team in the world to make it happen. We’re looking for 2-3 exceptional coaches to help us guide the students towards achieving this aggressive but achievable goal. You won’t be giving lectures or assigning homework. You’ll be grilling them on their P&L, driving them to the car wash they bought, critiquing their email funnels, pushing them to do things 99% of the world doesn't believe is possible. Job posting is live and DMs are open.

I replied: "Oh I don't feel like it. I'm busy with other stuff" He said : BRO AS SOON AS YOU GO HOME SELL IT TO YOUR FOLLOWERS FOR $10K PER PERSON THAT IS THE MOST VALUABLE PRODUCT YOU HAVE YOU COULD MAKE $100K TONIGHT JUST FROM DOING THAT so now im giving it out to you guys. but for free. Anthropic ran their entire marketing operation with one person. $380 billion company. Paid search. Paid social. SEO. Email. App stores. One non-technical hire doing all of it — for 10 months. I pulled it apart. Compared it to every system we've built across the clients we've worked with. Then asked myself one question: If I had to reverse engineer this from scratch — what would it actually look like? Turns out the architecture isn't that complicated. I mapped the whole thing into a 47-page PDF you can upload directly to any LLM. It coaches you through building your own version step by step. Comment "marketing" and I'll send it over.
