@StevenRaime Gotta give ya a follow, I’ve got a blue one. Love these bikes. They do so much so well and for a machine that’s probably 30 years old from the design stage it’s still extremely capable of putting a smile on my face. I love that gear driven cam whine and the reliability factor.
@rcgarage280328@DMTruckPhotos Need that as stickers and I'd definitely have a couple! Even better if they were mirror cut to stick inside the car windows 😏 xx
Decided to step back from here for a bit got a few things going on in my personal life decisions to be made regarding my work life and personal life so ill be about but not as much heads a mess need a software update so play nicely while I'm gone 10-4 good buddies
@AutoInfatuation If the fog light is anything like the one on our F36, you’ll never sort it without replacing it. Managed to fix the fog on the old unit then the tail light stopped working fixed the tail light then the fog stopped working again 😂
Me and my Dad spent all day yesterday on the 3.0D SE X5. 2x Injectors changed, one of which was truly knackered due to (I think) water ingress. Turns out the Swirl flaps had already been deleted which is nice, new gaskets on the injectors and inlet manifold too.
Tried to start it as we lost light and the battery was dead 😂
Left it on charge all night, tried this morning before I left for London and it just wouldn’t start. Presumed it was air in the fuel system needing bleeding out but didn’t have time.
Got home this afternoon and to say that a decent diagnostic machine pays for itself over and over again is an understatement (Kingbolen K10PRO FYI)
Actuated the fuel pump for 5 minutes, then cranked the car for about 20 second where it sparked into life.
The Diagnostic machine then wanted me to purge the fuel system for 10 minutes at 2,000RPM which I let it do. Turned the car off and on again and it has ran perfectly, put heating, A/C, heated seats and as much load as I could - still stayed running. It basically hasn’t done that now for a month.
Took it up and down the road, got up to national speed limit, all seems fine 😳
Still have a few things do sort to get it through its MOT which is mainly bulbs and a faulty fog light - what should be fairly straight forward things 🤞 then just a cosmetic touch up 🖌️
@poshtrucker1 Snap. 3 out of 5 spent shunting last week alone…left early every night as I hated every minute of it. Then Friday night I sat waiting for a trailer for 3 hours only to find out they’d “forgotten” to allocate it to a bay for loading. 🤦🏼♂️
🚛 Shift 1/5 🚛
Well shift one and shunting again.
Won’t lie not a happy bunny. One job that isn’t driving is shunting. Also doesn’t help with a rude customer today
But been a busy week on 4 off
From this lovely weather to this yard.not much more I need to say.

We flash our lights to say thanks.
We warn each other about hazards ahead.
We hang back to let a fellow driver out of a tight junction.
That’s what we do. We look after our own.
Out here, there’s an unspoken respect between drivers. A nod. A wave. A quick flash of the lights. It might seem small to others, but it means something to us.
So why don’t we carry that same support off the road?
Because behind every steering wheel is a human being. Not just a job title. Not just a schedule. Not just a registration number.
Long hours. Early starts. Late finishes.
Dark yards. Silent motorways.
Missed birthdays. Time away from the people who matter most.
The cab can be your peace… but it can also be the loneliest place in the world when your mind won’t switch off.
Mental Truckers isn’t just a name.
It’s a reminder that strength isn’t staying silent. It’s about checking in. Speaking up. Backing each other the same way we do out on the road.
Pride can be heavy. So can pressure. So can pretending you’re fine when you’re not.
A five-minute phone call could lift someone out of a dark place. A simple “You alright, mate?” could mean more than you’ll ever know. Listening, really listening, could save a life.
We’re trusted with 44 tonnes every day.
We handle responsibility, tight streets, and tight schedules.
But none of us should have to handle our struggles alone.
We move freight.
We move mountains.
And together, we can move the stigma.
Drivers supporting drivers.
Conversations that matter.
No one driving alone in their thoughts 💙

@mark15365@rcgarage280328 My foot lives on the brake pedal at lights after I worked that one out 😂 either that or blip the throttle a little. Still have do do it the “proper” way when the trainer is out with you though 😂
@Tattedtootsie_x@JustEatUK We had pretty much the same problem last time we used @JustEatUK (over a year ago now)
Told us to call the restaurant, that was now closed. When we did in the morning, neither wanted to know 🤷♂️ not used either since.
To all the truckers out there we know who the real Santas are and they drive MANs, Mercedes, volvos, ivecos, dafs, Renaults and even scanias (🤢) huge thanks to everyone single one of you! Hope you all have a fab Christmas with your loved ones ❤️ ❤️
