@Joeinblack If it makes you feel any better besides the people in my life, particularly my Catholic wife and priests I know, Catholic accounts like yours and a few others, affirmed my decision to take the jump to go through OCIA and officially join the Catholic Church.

18 times this week anonymous accounts told me I wasn’t a real Priest. 18 times. 14 of them were Candace Owen defenders imitating their little queen. 4 were anons who took exception to my position that treating women like crap does not constitute biblical submission. The concept of an anonymous account doesn’t bother me at all, but to me, it comes with a responsibility to ensure you’re not saying anything to a person you wouldn’t say to their face. It infuriates me when anonymous accounts say things from the shadows that they would never say to my face. Being blunt, it does not feel like a manly thing to do at all and in no way does it merit my respect. I see all this because an anonymous account who conducts themselves well challenged me in my response to these folks, and I accepted the challenge and spent some time thinking about it last night. I want to repent of letting some of these men of low character needle me into wrath. It’s me letting my temper get the best of me in a public way and I apologize. I will do my best to simply block anonymous attackers and move on. Please feel free to let me know when I don’t With all of my heart, thank you to @DHiddenness for gently challenging me to do better.
