I don’t do this very often because it’s unbecoming and we have a LONG way to go, but for those concerned, and read it how you want I guess: I did better in 2025 financially than I did at any point in my career at the ticket. Better than what the contract offered in 2028!

At the Junior Market Lamb Auction Friday night, the Grand Champion Market Lamb sold for a record $1 MILLION, the highest price ever paid for a lamb at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. The lamb was raised by Reagan Miller of Seagraves, Texas, and the winning bid came from the Hildebrand family in memory of Brittany Ann Hildebrand. The night was full of big moments for Texas youth. The Grand Champion Market Goat sold for $450,000, the Reserve Grand Champion Lamb sold for $310,000, and the Reserve Grand Champion Goat brought $250,000 — all record-setting sales.
