🚨#BREAKING: A nearly 70-year-old North Carolina real-life Karen... Karen Lewis... has been arrested after she was caught on camera meticulously vandalizing a Tesla Cybertruck using a board with nails hammered into it. She was released on just a $1,000 bond. Police say they have "no motive" for why the older, white, mask-wearing, 67-year-old woman named Karen, who did not know the man who owned the Cybertruck, would commit this crime. In fact, in the police report, they say the "offense appears to be a random act..."

When an entire population has to make videos that say “I am Persian. I am not Muslim” and release it to the world you know they feel they’re not being heard. The world has to get used to the fact that Iranians do not consider themselves Muslim.

In a shocking display of brutality, the Islamic Republic regime has arrested young children aged 8 to 12 inside a school in Izeh, Khuzestan.Their only “crime”? Chanting peaceful slogans in support of Abul Korkor — a local symbol of resistance.Elementary school students, children who should be learning and playing, are being dragged away by security forces for simply raising their voices. This is the true face of the Iranian dictatorship: a regime so terrified that it now targets innocent schoolchildren. The world cannot stay silent. Demand their immediate release! گوشه ای از جنایات جمهوری اسهالی، این کار ج.ا توی کل دنیا قفله. #IranMassacre‌ #جاويدشاه‌ #KingRezaPahlavi

Before Python, Java, or even C++, there was Fortran—the first major programming language. In 1957, John Backus and his team at IBM developed Fortran, making coding much easier than low-level machine code. Before Fortran, programmers had to write instructions in binary or assembly—slow and complicated. Fortran changed everything. It allowed programmers to use simple, math-like commands, making it especially useful for scientists and engineers. NASA even used Fortran to help land humans on the Moon. Fortran set the stage for modern coding languages, and it’s still used today in scientific computing.

Before we had silicon chips, we had needle and thread? In the 1960s, NASA didn’t ‘upload’ code; they sewed it. To get Apollo 11 to the moon, skilled weavers (often called ‘Little Old Ladies’) literally hand-stitched software into physical objects. By passing copper wire through tiny magnetic rings, they created Core Rope Memory. The logic was beautifully simple: wire through a ring was a ‘1’; wire around it was a ‘0’. Because the code was physically woven, it was virtually indestructible. It couldn’t be deleted, it couldn’t crash, and it survived the intense radiation of deep space with just 72 kilobytes of data: millions of times less than a single photo on your phone today. It proves sometimes the most advanced tech is actually handmade.

Dennis Ritchie created C in the early 1970s without Google, Stack Overflow, GitHub, or any AI ( Claude, Cursor, Codex) assistant. - No VC funding. - No viral launch. - No TED talk. - Just two engineers at Bell Labs. A terminal. And a problem to solve. He built a language that fit in kilobytes. 50 years later, it runs everything. Linux kernel. Windows. macOS. Every iPhone. Every Android. NASA’s deep space probes. The International Space Station. > Python borrowed from it. > Java borrowed from it. > JavaScript borrowed from it. If you have ever written a single line of code in any language, you did it in Dennis Ritchie’s shadow. He died in 2011. The same week as Steve Jobs. Jobs got the front pages. Ritchie got silence. This Legend deserves to be celebrated.
