Football ⚽️⚽️ Machester United 🔴

I don’t think people are really deeping what’s happening to Man Utd, other than maybe some Utd fans. They have the second largest net spend in world football over the past 3 years (past 4 and 5 years too). The 7th highest wages in European football (3rd highest in the PL). The largest debt levels in football without having a new stadium (their own is dilapidated) They’re 16th in the PL. SIXTEENTH! And as matters stand, they will have a a big PSR hole next season. One that not even UCL revenue would fill unless they get to a QF. Their staff are demoralised by a clueless, supposedly non-exec Board member who seems to run the show as if it’s one of his low-margin chemical companies and not one of the biggest brands in sport. And it has owners that clearly either don’t know how, or don’t care enough, to help it. Despite being an Arsenal fan - I don’t find it funny. I think it’s sad. Like seeing a once great boxer as a fragile old man with dementia. Football means so much to the people in this country. Yet so many clubs have been taken over by awful people who don’t see themselves as stewards or custodians. They’re more often vampires and cruel toddlers. Will the football regulator address that?
