Peller and Tunde Perry got seriously sc0lded by palace chiefs for coming into the palace of Alake of Egba land in Abeokuta without an appointment and eventually got sent out of the palace for bringing crowd inside the palace compound and creating cha0s😭💔… Peller got angri that he’s not interested in seeing the king any longer and that he has seen many kings already in Nigeria… the matter long 😭💔

This is the palace from which Oba Ladapo Ademola, the Alake (King) of Egba ruled over Abeokuta until he was chased away by the Egba women led by Funmilayo Ransome-Kuti in 1948. Described as a palatial and solid building, its beauty made it a centre of attraction. Sir Ladapo Ademola was one of the most glorious Yoruba Obas and was said to have been in "possession of 89 crowns - a fantastic number even for the Queen of England" that were stuffed in his sitting-room cupboard. At the time this photo was taken, the Drum magazine said the monarch had 31 children. Oba Ladapo Ademola returned to Abeokuta in 1950. This photo, taken by Matthew Faji, was published on March 2, 1959 From: Ethnic African Stories
