It’s been two weeks since I won the #AMVCA12 Best Lead Actor 2026 award, and honestly, e still dey feel like dream. From the days of uncertainty from hearing “you’re good but…” to standing on that stage holding one of the biggest recognitions in African cinema, it can only be God. This post is long overdue.. returning to work next day after I won this award didn’t afford me the opportunity to do it earlier. Gratitude is very important to me, because nobody truly wins alone in this industry.
