Booked a cab from Airport, bill showed ₹1233. Arrived home. Bill was ₹1648. Bill in the morning 4:00 AM from to airport was ₹457. Paid the driver as it showed the same to him. Never entered Haryana, never saw a toll on the way. Cab from airport and night charged seem fine. I have paid around 9-1200 earlier as well. But ₹445 toll/parking, ₹250 transport hub charges? They did round-off one paisa to their credit. I mean @Olacabs what the actual fuck? I am sure you will give some coupon or shit, but why the fuck would you charge this much? And weird thing was: driver got just ₹810 from this as he showed me.

Exactly. How do you compensate for weddings not attended and not being able to conduct final rites? The reason that people are furious is because this was a planned disaster, intended to use paying passengers as hostage to arm-twist the government. People have paid 8-10x to attend what they couldn’t and many were not privileged enough to do so.

DGCA के डायरेक्टर जनरल फ़ैज़ अहमद को तुरंत बर्खास्त किया जाना चाहिए। देश का एविएशन सिस्टम पूरी तरह चरमराया हुआ है। रोज़ फ़्लाइट कैंसिल, घंटों की देरी, खराब मेंटेनेंस, यात्रियों की कोई सुनवाई नहीं। निकम्मे अधिकारियों की लापरवाही की कीमत आम जनता चुका रही है। किसी की शादी छूट गई, किसी का एग्ज़ाम रह गया, किसी का ज़रूरी इलाज अटक गया, तो कहीं लोग एयरपोर्ट पर पूरी रात बेसहारा बैठे रहे। यह सिर्फ़ अव्यवस्था नहीं, बल्कि सिस्टम फेल्योर है। और इसके लिए सीधे तौर पर DGCA की जवाबदेही तय होनी चाहिए। अगर निगरानी एजेंसी ही सोई रहेगी तो यात्रियों की सुरक्षा कौन सुनिश्चित करेगा? अब सिर्फ़ बयान नहीं, कार्रवाई चाहिए। दोषियों को हटाओ यात्रियों को इंसाफ़ दो। @PMOIndia @HMOIndia @RamMNK

Anyone with basic brains can figure out what Indigo did was very intentional. This was not sudden disruption, this was almost a planned strike to strongarm the government into giving it what it wants. What people went through doesn't matter to them, it's just collateral damage. And the fact that govt let this happen is on them. The fact that we essentially have monopolistic/duopolistic situations in so many major sectors is on this Government. But what to do, let's look for ways to blame RaGa on this too.
