Please when you surprise someone, ensure you surprise to the end. During my birthday last year, I was shocked when I had to pay delivery fee for some items delivered to me. I really do think it was inadvertence as the vendor probably thought the buyer was the receiver and would pay the delivery fee on arrival and so didn’t ask for it, without knowing it was a gift to a third party and that delivery fee should have be sorted with the buyer. Bruh… I just dey cough out, 4k, 5k, 6k. As they dey surprise me with gift, they dey surprise me with gbese 😭 Please if you’re sending your friend a gift, ensure you sort it out to the end. It’s always embarrassing when I’m walking back in and delivery guys goes “aunty, they never pay me o”. Of course I can’t call you, I’d have to sort it. Bruh… I appreciate your gesture♥️ but I was on my own🥲, you chose to send me something, now I have delivery gbese to pay? What if I don’t have any available money at the time?
