Folks, I think we really need to be clear about what happened today. No, Trump and Vance didn't just go into this meeting with Zelensky as an ambush. Trump sounded very, very nice at the beginning. He hoped Zelensky was ready to sign a good deal. Zelensky was then grandstanding in front of the media and demanding a U.S. security guarantee for any peace with Russia to happen. Basically, he lied. He got into the Oval and started sounding off. Trump and Vance were insulted - on behalf of the USA - and acted accordingly. Zelensky's gone now. THAT'S what happened. This is how you handle these things. You don't let it slide. Good on Trump and Vance.

@realDonaldTrump Sir, pls keep in mind that English is not Zelenskyy’s first language. When dealing with emotionally significant matters you can expect misunderstanding to occur in which disrespect is conveyed unintentionally, especially in a fast paced conversation like this.

The Epstein list is the ultimate "Trump" card. You get to play it once. It has all of your enemies on it. They have no way of recovering once it's out. Thus, you dangle it for weeks over their head, watch as they confirm your picks, pass your budgets, and renegotiate trade deals. Then, after you've squeezed the criminals for every ounce of power and leverage they have, you release the list anyway and burn their world to the ground. That's how it's done.
