I heard multiple times that IREN is, and was, the best performer in their entire portfolio or funds. - Almost everyone I talked to has 100% conviction in the team, and notably in the co-CEO's. People that used to play AFL with Dan, where he was called "the difference", have helped raise money in seed rounds, just because they trust him blindly. - Even though Macquarie didn't go with Will's plan, a large group of investors from the seed rounds are still from Macquarie, even some of them who were in the room of the original pitch. All because they believed in him and his plans. - All these people have seen their shares go from $27 to $1 after the IPO, but stayed around to back the company, with conviction in the brothers and their plans. - These people are the core of the investor base in Sydney, and even though the company is public now and the share float is reaching 400m, they still play an important role in the identity of IREN here.
