PUBLIC SAFETY ALERT: ICAC INVESTIGATORS SEEK POTENTIAL VICTIMS IN WOODLAND CASE
Detectives assigned to the Sacramento Valley Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force are asking for the public’s help in identifying potential victims connected to an ongoing investigation involving 41-year-old Kurt Willer of Woodland.
On April 30, 2026, Detectives served a residential search warrant at Willer’s home after developing information that he may be in possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM). During the search, Detectives located additional evidence indicating Willer may have also been attempting to groom underage females. At this time, those potential victims have not yet been identified.
Based on the evidence collected, Detectives learned that Willer is currently a substitute teacher at Woodland High School, where he has worked since the beginning of the school year. Detectives have been notified that Willer is currently on paid administrative leave pending the complete investigation.
Detectives have also determined that he has been involved as a coach with local youth sports teams. Due to these roles, Detectives believe there may be individuals who have had inappropriate contact with him and may not yet be identified.
Willer has not yet been arrested at this time, as the investigation remains active and ongoing. Detectives are still concerned that additional juveniles may have had inappropriate or suspicious contact with Willer and are urgingparents and guardians to speak with their children about any potential interactions with him.
