Butterflies at a wedding moved a bride to tears. Soon strangers were weeping too. “It was just the craziest thing to watch,” said photographer Brit Perkins. “I’ve never seen anything like that.” wapo.st/4f1aud2

@AllyTaft As others have noted, you can often work with a venue to have one or two signature drinks, and a martini can be one of them. 🍸💕 And def ask if guests can ask for drinks neat. The right venue/caterer shouldn’t be there to deny guests something you want to serve. You’re paying!

Speaking with potential wedding venues and multiple have noted that they enforce a "no martinis" rule. This is a deal breaker, as that's my fiance and his parents' drink of choice. How trashed must people have gotten in the past for this to be a rule venues need to put in place?

Yes, if it was written for Search, and there wasn't a better piece of content that was directly related to that topic, then they 404'd the urls. For your situation, hard to say w/out seeing everything, but if you have multiple pages covering the same topic and you want to just have one, then 301 redirecting the others sounds totally fine. But again, hard to say w/out analyzing the urls, the content, etc. Hope that helps.

You might need a pot of coffee for this one. :) I had to write this case study. It's been wild -> Google March 2024 Core Update Case Study: A tale of four tremors, reversals, and a great example of the counterbalancing of systems My post covers a site that was hit hard in the fall of 2023 via several core updates AND the September helpful content update (HCUX). The site owner implemented big changes and waited for the March core update... And what an update it was for the site, with four tremors impacting the site heavily. And the last tremor was 5/26! So I had to add more to the post. I cover all of the details in my post. It's a beast. gsqi.com/marketing-blog…

@glenngabe @PXOOO1O1S1O Did your client 404 the “fringe” content if it wasn’t related? I have the opposite problem: too many articles on the same topic, so my process has been to create a new article (or use the one that ranks highest) and 301 all relevant articles to the new one. Is that correct?
