Experimenting with the pretext library... saw a brick breaker demo and had to try making it in PixiJS. Wanted to see what happens when you add WebGL/WebGPU shaders to the mix. Using bloom, glow, rgb split filters from pixi-filters. plus gsaps physics plugin for the text effect.

I know you're all getting mighty tired of seeing typography on your timeline today! But here's a pretext.js demo that (hopefully) isn't a crime against justification and indentation.

@ArfiandaHarry I’m not exaggerating when I say that practically every match is like this; that’s why I’ve stopped playing. I’m outside the server region and my internet connection is good enough for gaming, but not fast enough for Smart Assist.

@ArfiandaHarry The answer is Smart Assist: an impossible long-range shot turns into a pinpoint pass, and the defence knows exactly where I’m going to pass the ball; meanwhile, the goalkeeper knows where I’m going to shoot and reacts better as a result.

@ArfiandaHarry I don’t think KONAMI has done that. I dominate every match in terms of possession, completed passes and shots, by a huge margin, but I don’t win; on the contrary, the opposition, with just 30 or 40 completed passes, beats me; that’s my daily experience on the pitch.

@ZDEV777 Yeah bro, but I think Konami has started to weaken the Smart Assist lately. It's not as strong as it was when it was first released. I don't really struggle much even when my opponents are using Smart Assist. I play on console, so I'm not sure how it is on mobile

My dear front-end developers (and anyone who’s interested in the future of interfaces): I have crawled through depths of hell to bring you, for the foreseeable years, one of the more important foundational pieces of UI engineering (if not in implementation then certainly at least in concept): Fast, accurate and comprehensive userland text measurement algorithm in pure TypeScript, usable for laying out entire web pages without CSS, bypassing DOM measurements and reflow

Putting your emotions into words does more than just help you reflect—it can actually influence how your brain processes those feelings. The amygdala, often known as the brain’s alarm system, plays a key role in detecting threats and triggering emotional responses. When feelings become intense or overwhelming, this region tends to become highly active. However, brain imaging studies show that simply naming or writing about your emotions can reduce activity in the amygdala while increasing activity in the prefrontal cortex—the part of the brain responsible for decision-making, reasoning, and self-control. In other words, expressing emotions through writing can shift your brain from reactive mode to a more thoughtful, regulated state. Research on expressive writing, including controlled trials, also suggests that structured emotional writing can help reduce overthinking and improve overall mental well-being. When you put experiences into words, your brain begins to organize them, turning something messy and overwhelming into something more clear and manageable. This doesn’t mean writing eliminates stress—but it does help your brain process emotions more effectively by engaging its regulatory systems. Even short writing sessions have been linked to noticeable changes in how we handle emotions. When was the last time you truly wrote down what you were feeling—and noticed a shift afterward?

🧠 YOUR BRAIN’S HIDDEN SPEED What if the real reason your brain reacts so fast… isn’t your thoughts—but something you can’t even see? Deep inside your brain, a fatty layer called myelin wraps around nerve fibers like insulation on wires. When it’s healthy, signals move fast, smooth, and almost instantly. At the center of this system is the thalamus, quietly acting like a control hub, directing sensory messages every second without you noticing. But here’s the mystery… if this layer weakens, those signals can slow down or get scrambled. Things that once felt effortless—like reacting, focusing, or sensing the world—can suddenly change. So the next time you instantly respond to a sound or a touch… remember, it’s not just your brain thinking. It’s a hidden speed system working behind the scenes. Your brain isn’t just smart… it’s built for speed. Source Fields, R. D. White matter in learning, cognition and psychiatric disorders. Trends in Neurosciences.

@Showbiz84 Tiene que llegar antes, ya esto no daba para jugar más, KONAMI sabe que las partidas están manipuladas por Smart Assist, pero mientras el novato se quede, se sienta victorioso y gaste, entonces no habrá nada que solucionar.

@ArfiandaHarry @Konami @play_eFootball @we_konami @Juega_eFootball Yes, but they haven’t confirmed it; just because they’re planning it doesn’t mean it’s a done deal. It’s a focused game, but it’s tricky when the opposing defence has different defensive movements thanks to Smart Assist – all the players move differently.

eFootball - Smart Assist Don't you feel ashamed of yourself? With such a high-rated team, high rank division 1 — featuring Big Time Messi Blitz Curler, Cruyff, and other fancy epic players — plus smart assist, you still lost to a 3187-rated team and rage-quit at 6-0? Smart assist is overrated. Just focus on scoring and actually winning. ➡️To all my brothers, stop using Smart Assist. It's just wasting your time. When you rely on AI to win, you skip the entire learning process that comes from losing and improving #eFootball #eFootball2026
