Steve Reed says "tens of thousands of documents" have been released in relation to Mandelson's appointment. I've gone back and checked. By my count, the number of documents released in relation to the Humble Address currently stands at 49.

‘Haven't been able to demonstrate a shred of evidence.’ Housing Secretary Steve Reed criticises the Conservative Party for launching a ‘political trap’ and for pulling a ‘stunt’ over the Privileges Committee motion. 🖥️ GB News on YouTube: bit.ly/3vAYaw0

@nicksortor Yes, he's a king but no, he has nothing whatsoever to do with politics, it's also not his money. Your guy isn't a king but makes every decision and focuses on getting richer. That's the difference.

🚨 NOW: King Charles has a PRESIDENTIAL-level motorcade rolling through DC right now We now have an ACTUAL king on our soil, but there are NO SIGNS of any "No Kings" protests anywhere in the nation right now. Interesting how that works!

I just watched Raiders of the Lost Ark on ITV2. And they cut these iconic sequences from the ending of the movie.

There’s a sense of growing frustration within No10 of the amount of oxygen being spent on the Mandelson saga Here’s Emma Reynolds: “I think we are spending a lot of time - too much time - talking about it”

@EggySoldier @mediawatchinguk @SophyRidgeSky Sorry, meant lockdown rather than vaccine. I remember thinking at the time allowing Cheltenham, Liverpool Madrid to happen was a bad idea, we were a full week behind some of Europe. Why?

@mediawatchinguk @SophyRidgeSky Johnson prorogued parliament, paid off mistress, missed COBRA meetings, made KGB agent a lord, fined for Covid violations, took dodgy loans, let 23k people die by late vaccine rollout and was ousted after he employed a known sex offender. But sure, this is worse.

But when it was cake it was fine!! They are not being transparent, they are delaying the findings, closing parliament to avoid PMQs and going to be whipped in to allowing the PM to avoid the kangaroo court! Boris Johnson was hounded and it was that court bought him down, Starmer and labour deserves the same treatment! It works both ways !! The hypocrisy absolutely stinks !

A lot of hate for Russell Brand at the moment and fair play, keep it coming, he’s scum. But can we reserve a slice for his daft little mate Noel Fielding who, in his mid 30’s, was in a “relationship” with Bob Gelof’s school age daughter.

@Isa_Smooch @GordonFielden If there was any substance to Goodall's claim he wouldnt have ended up being made to look like a dickhead by Jones, a fact that everyone else posting here agrees with. Apart from you.

This may well be the most effective dismantling of a journalist by a politician that I have seen in recent times. I say that with full consideration of the context. On LBC, Lewis Goodall appears to steer the discussion towards a predetermined conclusion, presenting assertions that do not align with the available facts and constructing a narrative that does not withstand scrutiny. In doing so, he goes as far as to suggest, almost to press for, the establishment of a Privileges Committee to investigate Keir Starmer. Yet the substance of that demand does not appear to be grounded in evidence, but rather in the continuation of a narrative that he himself is attempting to shape. There is a consistent pattern in his approach. Wherever he appears, there is a tendency to impose a storyline that extends beyond what the facts can reasonably support. If one were to look for an example of the more troubling aspects of modern political journalism, this would be difficult to overlook.
Politics In The U.K.@politixintheuk

“What’s the basis?" Darren Jones calls Goodall's bluff.

@GordonFielden It turns out that by "adult" or "grown-up" politics, you lot just meant people who are more convincing liars. It was never really about opposing Tory sleaze and corruption, you just wanted your own more polished brand of it.

The Secret Service doesn’t give you a choice. For decades we’ve seen in EVERY case where there has been a Presidential security breach, they tackle you, shove you, hell they will carry the President kicking and screaming if they have to. But twice now with Trump, they’ve shrugged and let him get his photo op or return to the stage?

The BBC has exposed what many of us knew: organised crime is taking over the high street. Cocaine. Cannabis. Prescription pills. Sold openly in mini-marts. More than 70 shops linked to drugs across the country. The scale is horrifying. The ease of it is terrifying. We cannot restore our High Streets unless we take out the cancer of organised crime. I'm calling on the government to act now: new enforcement resources, tougher closure powers, zero tolerance. This can't wait. 🔗bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

@BritishChileno @AnthonyAinsdale Fuck mine, you really do have problems. The weather in Jan to Apr 2025 wasnt great either. How do you explain away the 69% fall in net migration? NHS waits lowest for 3 years? Borrowing £20bn less than expected? Lefty BS again?
