BJP also facilitated alliances and political support structures, including bringing together allies such as OPS, TTV and PMK through significant political effort. If you had started a political party on your own as a former IPS officer, it is highly unlikely you would have achieved even a fraction of this reach, visibility, or electoral relevance. You may not have crossed 2% vote share, let alone gained the national and international recognition you enjoy today. Whatever your future political path may be, it is important to acknowledge that much of your political rise was made possible by the BJP’s platform, resources, leadership support, and cadre strength. Credit should be given where it is due. Without BJP, there is no Annamalai, the politician who stands today
