I-90 is open both directions. Chains are required on all vehicles except AWD. 22 inches of new snow overnight. Thank you for your patience.

@PSETalk I'm so frustrated with the lack of communication from PSE. My wife works in comms for a major Fortune 100 company, so I know how it works. You guys aren't doing it. I'm going to take my frustrations to the state lawmakers.

@PSETalk I'm a resident of Snoqualmie pass. I appreciate you sent us all emails trying to make us feel better about the 2nd long term outage in 2 days, but it said NOTHING! You've got to tell us what is going on!

@momof3furkids @JoshHeckathorn This guy said he saw a sign on I90 saying there had been a mudslide. In north bend. Have some situational awareness, and find something else to do but troll.

⚠️ I-90 is closed BOTH directions. Westbound at Easton (MP 70) & eastbound at North Bend (MP 34). ⚠️ Both Indian John Hill rest areas are closed & the cameras are down because of the @PSETalk power outage. ⚠️ US 12 / White Pass is closed both direction for avalanche assessment.

@babybrattmother @SnoqualmiePass @PSETalk They can do enforcement at 47, no problem, wsp has been doing that for some time now. Im guessing the 34 closure has to do with the low snow level today - we have snow all the way down to Bellevue. The roads past 34 are likely not great.

@andrecs @SnoqualmiePass @PSETalk When they close the pass for an extended amount of time, they close it in North Bend, so people can be where services are, rather than at a milepost exit where there are no services. Then if they reopen with a chain up requirement, they can setup to to do enforcement.

@SnoqualmiePass Fyi, power out again - went out at 345am.

@SnoqualmiePass Hey guys - the pass report still says westbound is open, and an update just went out again saying, again, that westbound is open. That could really mess some people up if they go out and try to drive westbound.

Just when we thought the groundhog was misinformed and winter was likely over. Our weather forecaster is predicting 2 to 4 feet of snow on I-90/Snoqualmie Pass from Wednesday through Friday. Go dust off your winter car kit & make sure you are ready.

@SnoqualmiePass It's going to be a long night. Thanks for helping communicate. I hope @wspd2pio is out in force with chain checks, and also narrowing the roadway to only 1 lane at 47. That's the only way to keep it open when it gets like this - like ramp metering to reduce traffic.
