Good morning, travelers! Construction is back in full swing once again with Revive I-5 NB work underway on the Ship Canal Bridge. As a reminder, the Express Lanes will be northbound only until the end of 2026.

Due to fire activity and poor visibility due to smoke, I-90 is closed at MP 115 near Kittitas and WB at MP 137 just east of the Vantage Bridge. No estimate for a reopening at this time.

Reminder that the NB SR 99 off-ramps to Alaskan Way are closed for up to another hour because of USA-Belgium soccer pedestrian movement.
West Seatle Bridge is the final exit open before the downtown tunnel.
Please do not walk on SR 99 - it is not safe for pedestrians.

US 97 MP 232 to 235 is closed due to fire activity just south of the Beebe Bridge. Use US 97 Alternate on the west side of the Columbia River as a detour route.

Two lanes are closed across the SR 16 Tacoma Narrows Bridge to Gig Harbor.
The Jackson Ave ramp to SR 16 is also closed. We're making emergency repairs to this bridge joint. Expect congestion and delays during the PM commute. @CityofTacoma @PierceTransit

UPDATE 2: All northbound lanes of the SR 99 tunnel remain closed due to collision. Traffic is being pushed off at E Marginal Way and Alaskan Way. Crews are working to clear traffic. SB SR 99 has reopened.

FINAL UPDATE: SR 20/North Cascades Hwy is fully opened!!! We finished repairs early and reopened the scenic seasonal highway Sunday, June 14.
Make sure to watch out for wildlife not used to traffic in the area.

UPDATE JUNE 12: Paving work is done! Since then, we've worked to install rock on the shoulders, erosion control, guardrail, barrier and pavement markings. SR 20 remains closed from Ross Lake Trailhead to Porcupine Creek (MP 140-156) until Fri (6/19) while we finish up work.
