A family member of mine is enlisting in the Army, when he asked about filing for a religious accommodation for vaccines the recruiter told him that "USAREC had suspended processing all religious accommodation requests" I had a long discussion with the recruiter and attempted to educate him on 1) The Religious Freedom Restoration Act of 1993 and 2) that absolutely nobody of any rank within the military has the right to issue an order, create a policy, regulation or procedure that "suspense a federal law"! At this point it's just embarrassing- this guy was a SSG. Officers take an oath and to uphold the constitution, enlisted take an oath to follow the orders of officer (who should be giving orders that uphold the Constitution). Yet someone who identifies as a "military professional" somehow think that some general can write a policy or given order to suspend a federal law🥴- rinse and repeat of the ignorance that people depended on to force 85% of the military to comply with an UNLAWFUL vaccine mandate.
