Shoutout to @yelistener for the world class analysis as usual, so it turns out max isn’t washed as some are saying, he was actually on for q3 like Hadjar but had a deployment issue going into 130r and with the same engine as Lidndblad Max’s engine died at 328Kph whereas lindblad got to 332 Kph for longer. Credit to Hadjar an lindblad of course but was a deployment issue for Max not especially driver error. Go check out @yelistener YouTube channel. When it comes to onboard analysis there’s literally no one better!

Max had an entirely different aero package he was testing. Sometimes updates aren’t improvements🤷‍♂️ Irrespective of any particular driver’s performance the regulations are no longer by any stretch of the imagination the pinnacle of motorracing. In no form of motorsport are the driver’s skills of putting a car on the edge of its grip neutered. It’s a complete shit show. Anyone equating the gains or losses of any particular driver to somehow justify the abhorrent regulations aren’t true motorsports fans. That’s the point. Too many are defending the regs because their preferred driver is “finally” competitive again or because a driver they love to hate is honest about how bad the regs suck.

The regs suck on the PU side & they need to be tweaked to optimize power deployment. In no way should the”Ai” in the system have that much control.
