@Jack_LFC_1892 @ColinGrogan86 Maybe, clear he struggled to adapt, esp tucking in with Curtis at RB. More comfortable playing his own game.
The really top olayers can and do adapt though, and if we’re starting over, get the cheque book out and start shopping at the top table!

@captainhill @ColinGrogan86 I thought he was pretty good last year in fairness. Not the best passer of the ball but in terms of athleticism / strength he was right up there and perfect for the PL.
Easy to forget jurgen had him covering 2 positions when Trent started inverting, felt a bit arl ass on him 😂

@Jack_LFC_1892 @ColinGrogan86 I don’t think anyone who wins what he has is a failure, but after a promising first 2 yrs he hasn’t matured/developed as a player.
Errors were already there but have intensified as the pressure increased.
Don’t like it being a free, but time to move on & reset the back 4.

Just spent 90 minutes reliving my youth by watching this magnificent film.
I had it on repeat as a kid. Watching it now shows me so many different things, while also taking me back to those carefree days.
Great tournament, great video, and fantastic memories.
