I spoke at the #HICPAC meeting yesterday. I’m a severely immunocompromised, complex patient who caught RSV, pneumonia & COVID twice in the past 9 months from medical care. I’m not alone. 849 patients signed my letter earlier this year. chng.it/Jp9rq8Bvhp @PeoplesCDC

If you can afford masks, you should be also donating masks to those who can’t. Masks should be free, but they aren’t. Take extra N95s with you to offer cashiers, etc.

September 11th is how I learned that in emergency situations they’re trained to leave disabled people in the building. Around the same time my middle school had a fire drill and they did just that.

do any other systems struggle with certain aspects of mindfulness triggering dissociation and switches? ie being told to “go to a safe place in your head” when you’re overwhelmed. it always just causes switches for us. #pluraltwt #dissociatwt

I’m more miserable after the acute phase of (my 4th) #COVID infection than during it. Severe GI stuff, headaches and migraines every day, dystonia in my hands, chest and back (kidney?) pain. #immunocompromised

Sometimes I think about what it would be like if people like @MarkRuffalo and @AOC - “leftists” with millions of followers on twitter, simply posted “please wear a mask to prevent the spread of [airborne virus]” with a pic of themselves wearing a mask. But they don’t.
