Made another really proud milestone this week - I became an AAI Champion! This is due to recertifying DevOps Pro and getting approved to deliver the related course as well #aws #devops #career #training @awscloud

Alrighty - time for the big reveal. I joined @awscloud a few weeks back as a Senior Technical Trainer and this week I passed my Instructor Candidate Authorization and got my AAI certification back! Wooooooo Should be back in the classroom in the weeks ahead!!!

@cloudbart I think the key trait is "learn and be curious". People need to have a mentality of "wait, how the **** does that work?" and that's what I've always seen correlating with lifelong passion for technology.

@ranman So it's not really the knowledge of the hardware as much as it is kind of that physical builder leading to logical builder, maybe I should refine that by saying it's a good way to instill life-long passion

@cloudbart Really? I spent a huge part of my career and formative years with hardware but I always kind of disliked it compared to web/software. I think knowledge of hardware is definitely useful but I don't think loving it is necessary to sustain long term passion for tech.
