I’ve always wanted to build a home gym so I’m finally doing it. 3 pieces down. 7 more to go. fwiw, I bought all my stuff from gmwdfitness.com I have no affiliation with the company; I simply found them with some google searches then checked out their social media pages. tbh, the prices were so reasonable that I was worried it was low quality equipment but I’ve been pleasantly surprised. I’ve only put together 3 machines but I’d say the quality is 70-75% as good as any commercial gym at 20-30% of the price. For instance, the chest press I bought from GMWD was only $600 whereas a similar chest press at a commercial gym could easily cost $3–4k I placed the order last Friday morning and 80% of the equipment has already arrived. I believe 2 items are on backorder until later this month with a few more boxes coming tomorrow. If you’re looking to build an affordable home gym for you or your family I’d definitely consider GMWD.
