Within the Foundation we operate with a bit different mindset, because we are not company / product builders. We are economy builders. If you’re successful, you only add audiences and verticals (analogous to “economic sectors” in real life economies) because you win through horizontal scaling, integration everywhere, and economic diversification. Whereas the reflex wisdom received from the startup world (which are the roots for most of OG crypto) is to focus on a single product or audience and cut everything else. Of course we cut and prioritize initiatives at any given time, but paradoxically the idea to “choose one thing” is actually the wrong instinct for building an economy whereas it is more relevant for building a company
