This time, the Moscow region felt the reach of Ukraine’s long-range capabilities. An oil refinery was hit at a distance of 500 kilometers. I thank the warriors of the Security Service of Ukraine, the Unmanned Systems Forces, the Special Operations Forces, the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine, and the Missile Forces for their effective work. Russia must be forced to end its war against our people. And Ukraine’s long-range weapons are one of the important components of such pressure. Lako za zabranu Orbánovog povratka na mjesto premijera. Budimo realni – nakon izbornog poraza Viktor Orbán je politički mrtvac i bez ove ustavne izmjene. Puno je važnije nešto drugo. Orbán je godinama sustavno prenosio državnu imovinu u tzv. „zaklade od javnog interesa” pod kontrolom ljudi bliskih Fideszu i njemu osobno . U te zaklade su prebačena sveučilišta, nekretnine, dionice i druga državna imovina vrijedna stotine milijardi forinti. Ideja je bila jednostavna: čak i ako jednog dana Orban i ekipa izgube izbore, zadržat će kontrolu nad novcem, institucijama i utjecajem. Sada je Magyarova dvotrećinska većina promijenila ustav i otvorila put da se osnivačka prava nad tim zakladama vrate državi. Država će moći raspustiti zaklade, smijeniti uprave i vratiti imovinu pod javnu kontrolu. - MOL Tri najveće Orbánove zaklade kontroliraju približno 30% MOL-a. Među njima su MOL New Europe Foundation, MCC i Corvinus Foundation. Upravo su kroz te strukture Fidesz i nakon gubitka vlasti trebali zadržati snažan utjecaj nad tom najvažnijom mađarskom energetskom kompanijom. U cijeloj priči posebno je zanimljivo ime mog ljubimca Zsolta Hernadija ( ljubav obostrana ). Nije on samo predsjednik i glavni direktor MOL-a. Hernadi je od 2019. predsjednik Upravnog odbora zaklade Maecenas Universitatis Corvini Foundation koja kontrolira Corvinus University i drži oko 10% MOL-a. Drugim riječima, Hernadi nije bio samo menadžer MOL-a nego jedan od Orbanovih ključnih ljudi u sustavu koji je povezivao političku vlast, zaklade ruske i ine offshore …. Ako nova vlast doista provede ono što je upravo upisala u ustav, ne radi se samo o Orbánu. Radi se o vraćanju pod državni nadzor ogromnog dijela mreže političke i financijske moći građene posljednjih 25 godina. Dok se javnost bavi pitanjem može li se Orbán vratiti, prava tema je što će se dogoditi ako nova vlast preuzme kontrolu nad zakladama koje drže oko trećine MOL-a. Tada se više ne mijenja samo politika. Tada se mijenjaju odnosi moći u samom srcu mađarskog energetskog sustava. A u tom novom odnosu snaga pitanje više nije sudbina Viktora Orbána, nego položaj i utjecaj Zsolta Hernadija. I ne bi me nimalo iznenadilo da čovjek koji je u Hrvatskoj pravomoćno osuđeni kriminalac i bjegunac je od hrvatskog pravosuđa, uskoro sa najbližim krugom Orbanovaca, postane predmet istraga i u Mađarskoj. One new element in the recent 🇫🇷-🇩🇪 non-paper on the Western #Balkans and 🇲🇩 is that for the first time, Berlin and Paris have openly suggested that candidate countries which complete the necessary reforms and meet all accession conditions could join the 🇪🇺 Single Market before becoming 🇪🇺 members – without waiting for the ratification of an accession treaty. Could #Vučić and #Rama stand to benefit more than anyone else from this proposal, given that they themselves called for such a step in a joint op-ed in the #FAZ in February? That depends on what their intention was. I read their appeal as a challenge to the 🇪🇺. The underlying message seemed to be that enlargement is unlikely to happen anytime soon, so at least give us access to the Single Market and the Schengen Zone. If their proposal was sincere, and if (!) the 🇫🇷-🇩🇪 idea becomes 🇪🇺 policy, everyone wins: Vučić and Rama, the citizens of 🇷🇸 and 🇦🇱, and the 🇪🇺 itself. Their governments would have an incentive to carry out reforms, complete accession negotiations, and deliver to their citizens and businesses the tangible benefits of participation in the Single Market years before formal membership. If, however, Vučić/Rama proposal was not sincere, this new approach could expose that. Advocates of reform would be able to say: “You received what you asked for, yet you still refuse to do what is necessary to move forward.” In that case, it would become much harder to hide behind excuses. The debate would shift from what the 🇪🇺 is or is not offering to a much clearer question: who genuinely wants to move their country closer to Europe, and who merely says so while avoiding the reforms needed to get there. Memorandum između SAD i Irana: 1. Iran je dobio sve što je tražio. 24 milijarde dolara će biti odmrznute, i naftne sankcije će biti ukinute. Iran dao "časnu pionirsku" da neće razvijati nuklearno oružje. Nakon 60 dana počnju pregovori o nuklearnom oružju. Podrška raznoraznim grupama ostaje. 2. SAD dobile prolaz nafte, koju će kontrolisati zajednički Iran i Oman. 27 februara, prolaz je bio slobodan bez kontrole. 3. Dogovor bi se trebao potpisati u Petak, u Švicarskoj. JD Vance zadužen za protokolarne aktivnosti kao i svjedočenje pred senatom (dogovor treba odobrenje senata). JD Vance se gura kao lice dogovora, tj. ako propadne, ili Trump ne uspije prodati javnosti "m... za bubrege," ima koga kriviti. Ko su gubitnici a ko stvarni pobjednici: 1. Iranski režim je trenutno pobjednik. Ali, ekonomski oporavak će biti ključan za preživljavanje režima. 2. SAD su gubitnik. Međutim, SAD su imale veće strateške gubitke (Vijetnam, Irak). Odnosi između zaljevskih zemalja i SAD neće više biti isti (ovo možda i nije loše). 3. Izrael je gubitnik. Memorandum ne ograničava Iran da podržava Hezbolah itd. Iran sa parama, znači veće probleme. Imidž izraela je svakako bio na silaznoj putanji, epizoda gdje Netanyahu uvlači Trumpa u rat je samo pogoršala stvari. Ovo je takođe još jedna epizoda gdje je neko (Netanyahu) naučio na gorak način da Trump samo ima svoj interes i nema saveznika (osim Putina). 4. Najveći gubitnici? Palestinci. Trump nije nikad krio da ga sudbina palestinaca ne interesuje. Međutim izraelci će krenuti samostalnijim putem od SAD, i Gaza i Zapadna Obala bi mogle biti "utješna nagrada" izraelu. 5. Apsolutni pobjednici: Električna vozila. Visoke cijene nafte su očistile salone električnih vozila u SAD. Ova priča je završena. Posebno jer cijene benzina neće pasti na nivo iz februara još dugo vremena osim ako ne dođe do ekonomske recesije. 6. Da li će mir trajati? Trump je najviše zabrinut da li on izgleda kao neko ko je napravio bolji ili lošiji dogovor nego što je to Obama uradio. Ako njegovi mediji ne budu uspjeli prodati tu priču, mogli bi biti opet u ratu poslije novembra, ako ne i prije.

Something I've been thinking a lot about lately that's very hard to admit and took me about a decade to accept. America is by far the best place to get wealthy, yet one of the worst places to enjoy one's wealth. The average family has a better quality of life taking home 60K a year in a quaint European town than 600K in even a relatively prominent city in the U.S., say Phoenix or Denver. I say this after traveling the world full time since 2005, visiting 50+ countries and living in 7, as well as all across the States.

Leaving Spain 🇪🇸 today after two months with family and friends It never gets easier Every time I pack my bags, there's that moment where I ask myself if I'm doing the right thing. If maybe I should just stay. Find some job here. Be close to everyone. But then reality hits Staying means joining the permanent underclass that most Spaniards are trapped in: ❌ Low salaries ❌ High taxes ❌ No real path to building wealth Just… surviving I've watched too many smart, capable people back home work their entire lives and have nothing to show for it That's not the life I want. And it's definitely not the life I want for my future kids So I leave I go back to Latin America where my money goes 3x further. Where I can actually save and build something real instead of just treading water It's lonely sometimes. And yeah, missing birthdays and family dinners sucks But I'd rather sacrifice a few years now than spend the next 40 stuck in a system designed to keep me broke Maybe in a few years I'll come back with enough money that it doesn't matter anymore That's the plan anyway For now, I'm doing what I have to do
