@tmuxvim the ones above are oos/selfhostable and it works by proxying the endpoint so there's little cost to adapting/trying it. I have some gateway proxy to rotate codex accounts that just passes traffic only replacing the auth header... for purposes. anyways something to think about.

thats a defense mechanism, if you can't disarm it thats a you problem, of course its often not worth disarming. succeeding at disarm however is a fast path to genuine conversation. which is worth the effort

Figma employees got hit with the worst 1-2 timing punch ever. Should have had a huge acquisition exit from Adode, but then the global regulatory environment killed that deal. So they go public and hit a market cap 3x of the acquisition price, and everything looks up. Then AI makes massive strides in the 6-month post IPO lockup period and the stock drops -80%.

I dunno about that, I went in with mindset business sole purpose is making lots money, now I keep things at a maintenance level so I have time for family. at a certain point trading time for more money stop being a good deal. I think women intuitively understand this path of happiness better than men.

i always notice a difference in girls and boys and their relationship with money, especially when it comes to having a business
this obviously isn't true for everyone but on average i've noticed a lot of guys trying to do the most optimal thing to make the most amount of money but girls, including myself, will say things like "i don't want to lose my enjoyment of [thing that makes money]" or "i don't want the business to grow so much that it stops being fun" and the only conclusion i can come to with this info is that girls are meant to be provided for and guys are meant to provide

the whole price discourse is stupid, it stopped being a marker of quality decades ago, sometimes you can get good materials for 30 some times the one you like is 300. I learned in recent years at the high price you might as well pay a local seamstress to make it for you.
