I remember the first time I boarded a plane. Right before I left my mum pulled me aside and prayed over me for 20 minutes. Then she said "God if anything happens at the front let my son be at the back. If it happens at the back let my son be at the front." In my head I was thinking mummy, this is a plane. If anything happens to any part of it we are all going together. There is no safer corner. 😂 I just said Amen and carried my bag. No point arguing with a Nigerian mother.

Reminds me of a guy who was in the same class as one of my brothers. From 100l bro’s name wasn't found amongst the students list and he didn't mention back home. Kept showing up to school rather than go fix the issue, he kept collecting money for school fees and other bills for 4 years 😩 My bro graduated and man had to give them lamba at home that he had CO so he spent another year there and I don't know how he managed to convince his parents not to show up during his said convocation because he proceeded to tell them he was going to serve 😩. I don't want to type what I saw with my eyes but he did and I still don't understand how he did it. Parents ain't the way they used to be anymore for real.

But why do parents not ask for their child’s result anymore ? I knew someone that wasn’t even a student. He never gained admission into the school to begin with. Just rented apartment, go to class flex with babes like a student. Till we all graduated.

“Honestly, based on what I’ve personally gone through, the whole obsession with “body count” feels pointless. I’ve dated three women before. The first had been with five people, and I ended up catching her messaging her exes behind my back; later I found out she cheated. The second had only been with one person, but she constantly compared me to her ex. The third had a count of two, yet she eventually left me to go back to her ex, saying she still loved him even though he had cheated on her. Then there’s my wife. She’s been with over 30 people, and ironically, when I first met her, I only saw her as someone for a casual, one-night thing because of that. I didn’t think she was someone I’d ever take seriously. But we connected really well, stayed together, and now we’ve been married for over four years. At this point, I trust her completely with my life”
