Evolution explains how life changes after it already exists. The origin of the first life is a separate field called abiogenesis. Scientists don’t think humans evolved directly from random amino acids by pure chance. Natural selection is a non-random process acting on inherited variation over billions of years. You nor I can even comprehend 10 thousand years let alone millions and billions of years. There’s more observeable evidence of evolution existing then there is for contemporary sources outside of Christianity of rabbi yeshua existence.
