A security guard in our apartment was moving a cooler this morning when it accidentally touched a parked Creta.
A small mistake. Nothing intentional.
Someone informed the car owner, who came downstairs, started abusing the guard, and allegedly beat him despite repeated apologies. Other residents eventually stepped in and stopped the fight.
Later, police arrived, society members mediated, and the matter was resolved.
But one question remains:
What has happened to us?
Cars can be repaired. Insurance exists. A scratch can be fixed.
But humiliating and beating a man who is simply doing his job? What does that solve?
The most valuable thing damaged today wasn't the car.
It was basic human decency.

Just days ago, several dogs were brut*lly be@ten, loaded into vehicles, and dumped elsewhere. Atleast 2 to 3 dogs lost their lives. Last night, another innocent dog was stoned and is now fighting for its life in critical condition.
How long will this continue? Do only humans have the right to live on this earth?

There is hardly any concept of pet dogs in our village. Instead, many families make one extra roti every day for the stray dogs around them. My mother does the same.
Recently, one of the dogs she feeds developed severe itching, so she arranged for a doctor to treat her. The dog got scared afterward and disappeared.
Yesterday, my mother left a fresh roti at her usual spot, but it remained untouched. The dog still hasn’t returned.
Now my mother is very sad and keeps looking down the street for her.

A stray dog almost got me and my friend killed today.
I was riding my Royal Enfield on a highway at around 80 km/h with my friend when a dog suddenly came right in front of my bike. The distance was barely 20 meters. There was no time to think.
If I applied harsh brakes, we could have met with an accident. If I didn't, we could have crashed into the dog. In that split second, I decided not to apply the brakes and just hoped for the best.
Thankfully, the dog moved away from my bike at the last moment. But seconds later, it came in front of a high-speed car and got killed. My friend and I escaped unharmed, but the situation could have ended very differently.
After incidents like this, I believe stray dogs should be moved to proper shelters, relocated to dedicated areas, or adopted by people who claim to love dogs.
The public does not want to lose their lives because of them.

Watching this alone takes courage.
Seeing a helpless animal suffer like this shakes the soul.
I truly don’t understand what kind of people can do this… what religion or humanity teaches such cruelty toward a voiceless being?
Cruelty can never be faith. Compassion is the true humanity.

Murder accused in the Surya Chouhan case, Mohammad Asad, was killed in a police encounter in Uttar Pradesh.
But before that happened, everyone should know what happened just two days earlier.
Surya Chouhan was friends with Asad, Javed, Sameer and Aqif. They were all teenagers between 15 and 17 years of age.
They played together. Watched movies together. Shared years of friendship.
On Eid, Surya was invited to their home. He was asked to participate in the slaughter of a goat. Surya refused.
What followed was horrifying.
The Class 11 student was attacked with butcher knives by the very people he trusted. Despite severe injuries, Surya ran nearly 200 metres in a desperate attempt to save his life.
He could not make it.
A 15 year old boy was killed in broad daylight by those he considered his friends.
