Not sure -- we're all wondering, too. Coach Cal invited the media to his house every year, no matter how bad things got. Last year was a private team/donor event at Rupp, but media still got to attend for player reactions with interviews. Another misstep in a year of missteps.

The Kentucky men’s basketball program did not host a public viewing of the NCAA Tournament this year so unfortunately you won’t have any content to view of their reaction to the selection.

At the end of the day, it comes down to making shots…. and Kentucky has not done that. Defense has played well enough to win

@T_Harb24 100% its a stupid rule, but they’ll been calling it a certain way all tournament and that was not reflective of it. I remember last year, Butler got called for a flagrant while making a layup because his elbow caught the trail defender in the face

@dteague23 Yeah poorly worded, I think the rule is trash. But if that’s the rule you have to call it that way EVERY time.

I’m not saying that is a flagrant foul, it was clearly incidental contact, but you can’t call it differently each game of the tournament.

I’m old enough remember Lamont Butler getting called for a flagrant because he was going up for a layup and the guy behind him caught a hand to the face. We consistently get screwed by these calls

How is that not a flagrant foul? They been calling it all tournament, even when its incidental contact
