Suppose you buy Dangote noodles or spaghetti for ₦1000, your ₦1000 stays in Nigeria while you have value. If Dangote uses your ₦1000 to purchase raw materials from Ogun, that money creates employment in Nigeria. If that Ogun farmer uses your ₦1000 to pay his child's school fees, your money has gone into the future of Nigeria. And that is how the Naira will appreciate.  But if you buy Italian spaghetti with your ₦1000, the money immediately leaves Nigeria for Italy and strengthens the Euro, while devaluing the Naira, which leaves you poorer. Therefore, don't buy made-in-Nigeria because it Tinubu.
